It’s a real blessing to surround yourself with creative people you love and admire.
Pericles Kondylatos apart from an amazingly talented designer for Statement Jewelry, is probably one of the funniest and most positive & optimistic people we happen to know.
Sincerely, i cannot remember how this insane idea about an 80′s revamp photo shooting started in the first place, but we really had a blast!
Here we go!
Me, getting 80′s glamorized.

“Indie” stands for Individual.
Being indie means you’re independent — it’s where the name comes from.
It means you do your own thing. So don’t even worry about dressing indie — if you’re dressing like you want, that’s it.
And in our case, being yourself, always means to add a little bit og glam, no matter if you ‘re going for casual or evening wear.

Today was a really beautiful day.
One of these days that make me feel happy for no particular reason.
But it just felt right.
Moreover, it seemed to be a good day to mix cobalt blue with animal print.
I don’t know whether the stylish outcome was casual or funky, but i do maintain that it was a 100% natural good hairday.

Todays is inspiration starts with a B.
Going hard against any notion of minimalism and simplicity, the exquisite Baroque trend will always manage to captivate the entire fashion world with its luxurious feel and that undeniable appeal that celebrates femininity in utterly flattering ways.
Personally i just love it.
My look for today:
Modern Baroque inspiration with some Rock Glam attitude.
The Baroque print is all about making the details really stand out.
Much like any other print, the Baroque one can be styled with endless possibilities in mind, regardless if you care to make it stand out on its own, or layer it with other beautiful and contrasting styles.
It can be embellished or kept to a minimal, but you can count on the fact that it will still appear modern and elegant.
For many, baroque may still appear like a trend fit for the runways, that is unlikely to translate flawlessly to the street wear.
This is exactly why accessories make for the easiest transitional pieces towards the baroque eccentricity, without ever feeling like too much.
Baroque inspired lunch.
Playing a huge part in the baroque trend, luxurious stones and timeless pearls collide with gold metals in an attempt to recreate the “Old World” glamour.
The eccentric pieces of jewelry set a dynamic contrast with other Baroque elements.
Embellished garments such as shoes and bags, head crowns and earrings, can create a breathtaking effect that fit dramatically well together.
Dramatic. Exuberant. Excessive.
Embellished Clutch Bag by the masters of Modern Baroque:
Dolce & Gabbana.
Gold is is the irreplaceable star color of the Baroque trend.
Complementing each other in the most luxurious ways:
The dramatic Baroque trend and the shimmering gold are destined for loud statements and precious combination.
“Old World” elegance.
The Baroque trend is defined by sculptural elements, and dramatic aesthetics.
Go for contrasting bold shapes and sculptural elements, especially when it comes to accessories, they are the key in a successful Baroque approach.
If you are not aiming for an extravagant Baroque look, there is also the matter of accessories.
Embellished jewellery, tapestry handbags, jewelled headbands, embroidered suede boots or printed silk scarves are just some methods to help you go easily with the Baroque style, especially if you are a starter.
Dolce & Gabanna baroque inspired shades.
Giuseppe Zanotti “Gold Flame” heeled sandals.
Need them on my whislist.
Golden “Lego” Chanel clutch bag.
Gold, gold and more shimmering gold.
Top off your Baroque style with bold red lips.
It’s all about conviction and a look that screams lavishness against all odds.
Golden kiss full of Baroque splendor.
Details on today’s look:
Colar Silk Shirt: Zara Woman

Evil Eye Ring by e-outfit.com.
Find it here.
The final touch for an effortless Baroque style:
Complete the outfit with the addition of a minimal non-designer black leather bag.
Keep it modern and casual.
The way to make this work is not to do anything by halves.
Don’t pair an embroidered velvet cape with a pair of ballet flats: go for the heels, or the luxe leather boots.
Shoes: Leather Booties with Golden detail

That’s all for today i guess.
Thanks for reading!
Sending you a BIG glamorous kiss from Tsakalof 16.
Waking up on the very first morning of the new year with the person you love the most, after an unforgetable night of fun along with loving friends can be one the most amazing feelings.
While still in bed, here are my new year resolutions i came up with.
Some of them (like cooking for example) were in my 2013 resolution list as well but who cares anyway?
I am not going to spoil my happy mood!
#1. Drink more water.
#2. Become more organized.
#3. Get 3 more tiny tattoos.
#4. Work even harder.
#5. Excersice at least 2 times / week – (summer is only 5 months away)!
#6. Learn to cook (that was on my NY resolution list last year as well but anyway).
#7. Make every day a good hairday (shallow i know, but it can really affect my mood).
#8. Enjoy the little things.
#9. Spend more time with people i love.
#10. Shine Brighter.
#11. Have more fun.
#12. Be in love with my life, every minute of it.
2013 was clearly a good year and 2014 will be even better.
Sending you much love and positive vibes.
It all begins with an invitation like this one:
Can you think of a better concept idea to celebrate NYE…?
Because we don’t.
I do admit that this whole Gatsby thing was really kinda popular these days.
Both high street industry shops and Haute – Couture boutiques, from Zara to Lanvin were all over 1920′s inspired outfits & Gatsby style accessories.
So this REALLY stimulated our fashion appetite.
1920′s hair was our first thing in our “GATSBY TO-DO-LIST”
Woop Woop! Let’s get started!
Looking cute and all curly.
Don’t freak out – it looked REALLY good once finished!
Time to get that “Flapper Glamour” on my face.
Possibly the most important part of the Flapper look: the lips!
Go for a really dark and dramatic lipstick and make sure to emphasize your lips’ shape with lip liner.
Go for some serious smudgy, smokey eye-makeup.
Finish with some dark mascara and false eyelashes, to really make a statement.
By the way, did you know that several make up brands such as Max Factor Elizabeth Arden and AVON were all popular among flappers in the 1920′s?
Anyway, once the make- up is done, you need to start looking for the dress.
And that was NOT an easy project to accomplish, i can tell you that.
You will need to make a good market research before concluding to THE ultimate “flapper” dress for the big night.
Look out for – dropped waistlines (VERY important to the Flapper style), plunging necklines, plunging backs, and sleeveless dresses.
Material wise, go for beaded material, sequined material, and flowery material.
Some inspiration to get into the “Golden Age Twenties” mood.
Without accessories a dress is just a dress.
The right accessories makes a so-so dress into a smashing Gatsby success.
Let’s start at the top and work our way down.
Looking loud & proud, full of glamour.
Tiny but all glamorous Valentino clutch bag to fit your lipstick, powder and a small amount of cash.
Nothing further needed.
Time to grab your marabou feathers and hit the party.
Let’s get this party started.
It was called the “roaring twenties” for a reason.
Glamorous guests arriving.
Loving friends P. Kondylatos & Vassilis Zoulias making quite an entrance along with designer Chara Lebessi.
One of the things we all adored in this party was the glitter.
Seriously: TONS OF GLITTER.
The more the better.
Another thing that amazed me about that night was the fact that EVERYONE looked so beautiful, bright and festive.
All “Gatsby” glamorized, head to toe.
Our red carpet moment, looking all shinny and happy.
Garments: e-outfit.com handcrafted silver sequin dress, ASOS black flapper dress and tuxedo by Mi-Ro.
Celebrating like the “Roaring Twenties”.
Happy New Year!
Fallen asleep in 2013, woke up in the 1920′s.
Careless and free spirit, beautiful people, lively music, decadent food and tons of champagne.
Gatsby customized photobooth stripes.
Coolest guy in the party.
Gatsby inspired golden hand – cuff.
Girl – Power in 1920′s mood.
Our favorite ginger head in “Gatsby” mood, looking beautiful.
Glamorous comfetti mess everywhere.
Make up remainings from an epic night.
Wishing you a Happy New Year, full of amazing moments.
Thank you for the unforgettable party guys.
We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off 2014.
Take care and make sure you always party like Gatsby.
